CNS 450 - Foundations of Counseling

Introduction to Counseling is a survey course in which students will become familiar with the field of professional counseling. The course covers foundations of counseling including: role of counselors in contemporary society, ethical and legal issues, basic counseling techniques, multicultural counseling, and current issues in counseling.
