MUS 556 - Survey and Study of Choral Literature

(2 credits)

Study of choral literature from the Renaissance to the present. Examination of music from each period, with emphasis on literature selection, understanding and interpretation of the score, historical accuracy in performance, and program building, with overall eye toward practical usage.
