Social studies integrate ideas from the social sciences and humanities to educate for informed decision-making of the people, by the people, for the people. In SST 200 students revisit concepts from the disciplines that will inform them when teaching children for conscious participation in a rapidly changing global society. Prerequisite(s): Grade of 2.0 or better in a course identified as meeting Social Science or Western Civilization General Education requirements.
