MUE 515 - Oakland Jazz Singers

Ensemble performance of complex jazz works. Development of jazz style and blend, scat-singing, solo production and microphone technique. One of the following activities or duties will also be assigned: a musicological study of the work performed, section leader, section rehearsal assistant, assistant conductor, or ensemble manager. Membership by audition.

Prerequisite(s): Student must meet prerequisite (MUS 550).
