EXS 536 - Environment and Human Performance

(2 credits)

A multi-perspective consideration of human adaption to major factors which can significantly influence human movement in diverse micro- and macro-environments. Factors to be considered include temperature, altitude, precipitation, light, noise and sociocultural factors. Health/safety in locomotion, rehabilitation, sport/recreation and occupational contexts are emphasized. This course is cross listed with an undergraduate course. Formerly EXS 635.

Prerequisite(s): EXS 304 and EXS 520 or have permission of instructor.
