CRJ 323 - Delinquency and Juvenile Justice (4) Overview of the nature and types of delinquency, its relation to adolescence and the social situation, processing by the juvenile justice system. Examines juvenile court procedures, detention facilities, adjudication issues, life without parole sentences, delinquency prevention, treatment programs. Identical with SOC 323. Prerequisite(s): CRJ 200 with a grade of 2.5 or higher required for Criminal Justice majors and minors.
