CSI 4500 - Fundamentals of Operating Systems

Introduction to the concepts and design of operating systems. Typical topics include: sequential processes, concurrent processes, processor management, memory management, scheduling, file management, and resource protection. Offered winter. (Formerly CSE 450)
Prerequisite(s): (CSE 361 or CSI 3610 ) and (CSE 364 or CSI 3640 ) and major standing in CS or CE.
