ECN 3100 - Economics of the Environment

Involves the application of the tools of economic analysis to problems of energy, ecology and the environment. Topics include externalities and public goods, optimum use of fixed national resources, limits to economic growth and ecological aspects of principal pollution problems. Generally offered winter and summer semesters of odd years. (Formerly ECN 310)
Prerequisite(s): (ECN 150 or ECN 1500 ) or (ECN 201 or ECN 2010 ), or (ECN 210 or ECN 2100 ) with a minimum grade of 2.0.
