ECN 3330 - History of Economic Thought

Surveys the history and development of economic theory. Examines the development of classical theory, the Marxian challenge, the neo-classical refinement (marginal revolution) and the Keynesian revolution. Emphasis will be placed on the development of economics as intellectual history. (Offered with sufficient student demand). (Formerly ECN 333)
Prerequisite(s): (ECN 150 or ECN 1500 ) or (ECN 202 or ECN 2020 ) or (ECN 200 or ECN 2000 ) or (ECN 210 or ECN 2100 ) with a minimum grade of 2.0.
