MIS 4450 - Simulation in Management

This course introduces computer simulation modeling of business processes using a variety of software tools and techniques including discrete event, Monte-Carlo, and systems dynamics. Implications of models and sensitivity analysis for forecasting, planning and decision making in the management environment are explored. (Formerly MIS 445)
Prerequisite(s): (MIS 300 or MIS 3000 ) and (POM 343 or POM 3430 ) with a minimum grade of 2.0 in each course.
