Independent study or research project carried out under the direction of a faculty member. May be repeated for additional credit. Requires a written report. (Formerly PHY 490) Satisfies the university general education requirement for the capstone experience. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
Prerequisite(s): junior standing and written agreement with a physics faculty member.
