PSY 3220 - Adolescence and Youth

Focuses on the scientific study of the normative biological, cognitive, emotional, personality and social changes that occur during adolescence. Selected topics include pubertal maturation, information processing, identity development, peer relations and family dynamics. (Formerly PSY 322) Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in general education or the major, not both. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
Prerequisite(s): (PSY 250 or PSY 2500 ) with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
