FIN 4300 - Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring

Examines important issues in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and corporate bankruptcy, including choices when faced with restructuring decisions. Addresses investment banking techniques used to enhance the firm’s value, and methods of reorganizing a firm outside of bankruptcy. (Formerly FIN 430)
Prerequisite(s): (FIN 416 or FIN 3600 ) and (FIN 422 or FIN 3720 ) and (FIN 368 or FIN 3680 ) with a minimum grade of 2.0 and major standing.
