Introduces a range of topics, tools and technologies for modeling, analysis and visualization of business related data using spreadsheets. In addition to providing an introduction to more advanced analytics techniques such as simulation, optimization and data mining, students learn the basics of Excel VBA programming for creating spreadsheet based analysis tools. (Formerly MIS 443)
Prerequisite(s): (QMM 241 or QMM 2410) or (STA 226 or STA 2226) and (MIS 100 or MIS 1000) with a minimum grade of 2.0 in both courses.
