This course builds on Elementary Science I by extending students’ experiences with planning for and enactment of ambitious science instruction in K-8 elementary schools, knowledge of content, the Next Generation Science Standards, and the Michigan Core Teaching Practices. Students complete a large project in coordination with their field placement.
