Applied Mathematics Minor

Requirements for the applied mathematics minor

Open to majors outside of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Students must complete the following courses with a grade of at least (C) in each to qualify for the applied mathematics minor. 

• MTH 2554 - Multivariable Calculus (4)  
• MTH 2775 - Linear Algebra (4)  
• MTH 3002 - Introduction to Advanced Mathematical Thinking (4)  
• STA 2226 - Applied Probability and Statistics (4)  (or another statistics course approved by the departmental adviser)
