ECN 200 - Principles of Macroeconomics(4) Credits Examines a broad range of macroeconomic concepts such as determination of national income, fluctuations in the economy, fiscal and monetary policies, money and banking, inflation, unemployment, and international economics. It also provides an introduction to a few key microeconomic concepts, such as scarcity, opportunity cost, supply and demand, and market processes. Satisfies the university general education requirement in social science knowledge exploration area. Generally offered every semester. Prerequisite(s): high school algebra.
