NRS 516 - Health Policy, Finance and Nursing Management

(3 or 4 credits)

Outcomes, reimbursement, consumer expectations and quality standards and their impact on advanced nursing practice in managing delegating patient care will be explored. Health care policy and finance is explored in relation to government, reimbursement, quality, systems, consumers and professional and advanced nursing practice levels. Replaces NRS 355 in RN/BSN program.

Prerequisite(s): NRS 310 and admission to RN/MSN program.
