CSE 552 - Operating Systems I

Focuses on distributed operating systems. Topics covered include communication protocols for message passing and remote procedure calls, synchronization of distributed systems; processes and processors; distributed file systems; distributed shared memory, Grid computing, and security issues.

Prerequisite(s): Students must meet the prerequisites (CSE 505, CSE 506 and CSE 507 or equivalent).
