AED 4320 - Teaching Art at the Secondary Level

This course develops knowledge and skills for teaching art at secondary levels. Through lectures, readings, field and studio experience, students explore historical and current trends in art education, visual culture, and visual literacy while constructing effective instruction and curricula in the visual arts using current instructional and assessment strategies. This course is cross-listed with (EST 504 or EST 5320). Field placement required. (Formerly AED 304)
Prerequisite(s): (AED 301 or AED 4120 ), (AED 302 or AED 4220 )
