AHS 3340 - Hospital Safety and Health

Concentrates on the principles and practices of safety in the hospital setting by focusing on exposures including tuberculosis, needle-sticks, anesthesia gases, latex allergies, radiation, medical waste, and the controls necessary to prevent injury both to the health care employee and the patient. (Formerly AHS 345)
Prerequisite(s): (HS 2000  or HS 201) and (HS 3000  or HS 302)
