BIO 1000 - Foundations of Modern Biology

Principles of biochemistry, energy transformation, metabolism, cell division, and heredity. Emphasizing problem-solving skills and the background necessary for success in more advanced biology courses. Especially suited for students majoring in science or allied health programs needing additional preparation prior to (BIO 111 or BIO 1200 ). Not for major or minor credit in biology.
