ECN 3030 - Managerial Economics (3) Explores microeconomic theory and its application to managerial decision making. Examines consumer behavior, cost and output estimation, optimization, pricing issues in competitive and non-competitive markets, decision making under uncertainty and capital budgeting. (Formerly ECN 303) Satisfies the university general education requirements in the knowledge applications integration area except for economics majors. Prerequisite for knowledge applications: completion of the general education requirement in the social science knowledge exploration and the formal reasoning knowledge foundation areas. (Generally offered every semester). Prerequisite(s): (ECN 201 or ECN 2010 ) and (ECN 200 or ECN 2000 ) or (ECN 202 or ECN 2020 ) or (ECN 210 or ECN 2100 ) and (MTH 122 or MTH 1222 ) or (MTH 154 or MTH 1554 ) with a minimum grade of 2.0 in each course.
