Principal theories of motivation. Examination of needs, cognition, and social aspects. Includes a critical review of research and application of these theories to behavior. (Formerly PSY 333) Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in general education or the major, not both. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
Prerequisite(s): (PSY 250 or PSY 2500 ) with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
