STA 2220 - Introduction to Statistical Concepts and Reasoning (4) Statistical ideas and thinking relevant to public policy, quality improvement, and physical and social sciences. Data collection and presentation; association; normal distribution; probability and simulation; and confidence intervals, p-values, and hypothesis testing. (Formerly STA 225). Satisfies the university general education requirement in the formal reasoning knowledge foundation area. Prerequisite(s): (MTH 062 or MTH 0662 ) with a grade of 2.0 or higher or placement.
