PT 7140 - Pharmacology for Physical Therapy

(2 credits)

This course is an introduction of pharmacology and to pharmacology in rehabilitation. The principles of pharmacology (9including drug nomenclature, classification, and pharmacokinetics) will be introduced. Typical agents, adverse effects and specific physical therapy concerns are covered for the various classes of medication.
