ALS 5538 - Theory and Practice in Language Testing (4 credits)
A study of the different types of aptitude and achievement tests used in different language settings, including research and educational situations. Brief introduction to test statistics and computerized analysis of test scores. Practical aspects of testing: design, scoring and administration. Formerly ALS 538.
Prerequisite(s): Student must meet prerequisite (ALS 5517) or have permission of instructor.
