APM 5666 - Computational Geometry

(4 credits)

A detailed study of the differential geometry of curves and surfaces in Euclidean 3-space, an introduction to several mathematical models for computer representation of curves and surfaces, and the use of the geometry of these models in computer-aided design and manufacturing systems. Required background: a course in linear algebra.  Formerly APM 566.

Prerequisite(s): Required background includes a course in linear algebra.
