BIO 5254 - Advanced Genetics (4 credits)
Topics include methods of gene discovery through analysis of genetic variation, genetics of complex traits (in which multiple genes and environment interact), non-classical modes of inheritance, and applied topics such as the use of genetics in medicine and forensics. BIO 5254 is cross listed with an undergraduate course, BIO 4400. Students cannot receive credit for both courses. Formerly BIO 519.
