MIS 5140 - Introduction to Databases and Data Warehousing
(3 credits) An introductory yet comprehensive coverage of data modeling, database design and implementation, SQL, and data warehousing. Provides a theoretical foundation and extensive hands-on experience with relational and multi-dimensional databases. Includes introductory data mining concepts.
Prerequisite(s): (MIS 3000 or MIS 5240) and MIS 3050 and QMM 5100) or equivalent.
