CECS 11200 001 - EC Council - Certified Ethical Hacker

CEU: 4 hours

The Certified Ethical Hacker course immerses students into the hacker mindset for skilled defense against future attacks. The security mindset in any organization must not be limited to the silos of a certain vendor, technology or piece of equipment.

Students are put in the driver’s seat in this hands-on environment with a systematic process. Here, you will be exposed to an entirely different way of achieving optimal information security posture in their organization; by hacking it!

Course Objectives:

  • To equip students with the capabilities of scanning, testing, hacking and securing systems.
  • To teach students the five phases of ethical hacking, including reconnaissance, gaining access, enumeration, maintaining access, and covering one’s tracks.
  • To provide students in the ways to approach various targets for success at breaking in every time.
