Topics include stress and strain analysis, force equilibrium, deformation compatibility, torsion of non-circular cross-sections, torsion of thick-walled tubes, shear centers, non- symmetric binding, curved and composite beams and thick-walled cylinders. Generally offered Fall.
Prerequisite(s): ME 3250 and major standing.
