NTR 3130 - Nutrition and Culture

The course critically evaluates global cultural values, beliefs, and experiences that influence what, how, when, and why we eat.  This includes social, political, religious, and economic context as well as issues of globalization, social justice, agricultural food production systems and sustainability. Students will demonstrate an ability to apply cultural awareness in nutrition practices settings. Replaces HS 3130. 
Prerequisite(s): NTR 2500
