MIS 4180 - IS Risk Analysis and Controls Development (3) This course introduces the fundamental concepts and techniques for conducting risk analysis of an information system and, then, developing security controls for the system. The major topics include information assets classification, risk identification, risk assessment, security controls design, security control implementation, and maintenance and monitoring. Involves projects. Prerequisite(s): MIS 3000 or MIS 3010 and MIS 3050 with a minimum grade of (C) in each course.
