An intensive, one-month course, designed to prepare medical students to interact with Spanish speaking patients at an intermediate low level. Students will be able to:- Communicate effectively in Spanish about health-related issues at an intermediate level.- Gather and communicate health-related information in an effective manner demonstrating cross-cultural competence.- Apply basic techniques of consecutive interpretation to a clinical encounter.
