Propagation of errors, approximation and interpolation, numerical integration, methods for the solution of equations, Runge-Kutta and predictor-corrector methods. Offered fall of even-numbered years.
Prerequisite(s): MTH 2775 with a grade of (C) or higher, (APM 2555 with a grade of (C) or higher or APM 2559 with a grade of (C) or higher), and knowledge of a scientific programming language, or permission of the instructor.
