ECN 3030 - Managerial Economics (3) Explores microeconomic theory and its application to managerial decision making. Examines consumer behavior, cost and output estimation, optimization, pricing issues in competitive and non-competitive markets, decision making under uncertainty and capital budgeting. (Generally offered every semester). Satisfies the university general education requirements in the knowledge applications integration area except for economics majors. Prerequisite for knowledge applications: completion of the general education requirement in the social science knowledge exploration and the formal reasoning knowledge foundation areas. Prerequisite(s): ECN 2010 and ECN 2000 or ECN 2020 or ECN 2100 and MTH 1222 or MTH 1554 with a minimum grade of (C) in each course.
