A beginning course in the fundamentals of Arabic language and cultures. This course is designed for true beginners or students with minimal prior experience, or equivalent placement. Conducted in Arabic. ARB 1140, or any ARB course with 1140 as a prerequisite, satisfies the general education requirement in the language and culture knowledge exploration area.
