A beginning course in the fundamentals of German language and culture. This course is designed for true beginners or students with minimal prior experience, or equivalent placement. Conducted in German. GRM 1140, or any GRM course with 1140 as a pre-requisite, satisfies the university general education requirement in the language and culture knowledge exploration area.
