Designed to provide an understanding of how art embodies and reflects particular perceptions and expressions of the world. This course helps students understand and appreciate the beautiful and develop aesthetic criteria whereby to better appreciate art and the way it captures human experience. May be repeated for four extra credits. Satisfies the university general education requirement in the arts knowledge exploration area.
