A beginning course in the fundamentals of Italian language and culture. This course is designed for true beginners or students with minimal prior experience, or equivalent placement. Conducted mainly in Italian. IT 1140, or any IT course with 1140 as a pre-requisite, satisfies the university general education requirement in the language and culture knowledge exploration area.
