Focus on technique and building of basic painting skills. Students with little or no art experience explore the fundamentals of painting. Cannot be used to fulfill any studio art requirements for the major or minor. Satisfies the university general education requirement in the knowledge applications integration area. Prerequisite for knowledge applications: completion of the general education requirement in the arts knowledge exploration area.
