MKT 4550 - Product Management (3) This course focuses on the development and management of new products from a marketing perspective. It investigates various stages of the new product develop process, such as concept generation, project evaluation, development and product launch, and the role of marketing in making new products more successful. The structure of the course is designed to help you understand the management issues involved in the process of new product development, and develop strategic thinking and learn tools and techniques to make better decisions in the management of new products. Students without major standing in the SBA must have a cumulative GPA of 2.6 or better to take this class. Prerequisite(s): Business students: MKT 3020 with a minimum grade of (C). Non-business students may be able to register for this course as part of an approved SBA minor, with the permission of the minor coordinator
