PH 4750 - Global Health and Social Issues

(4)
Introduction to global health and social issues particularly in developing countries.  Course examines social, cultural, and environmental contexts in which people live and how factors influence health and development.  Topics include poverty, development, sexuality, inequity, and health programs in low-resource settings. Cross list with PH 5750. 
Prerequisite(s): HS 2000  (C) or Instructor permission
