ENG 3530 - Indigenous Literature of North America (4) Studies in literature by authors from a range of North American Indigenous nations, with an emphasis on texts from the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries. Attention to be given to recurrent thematic concerns (e.g. settler colonialism, sovereignty) and to Native authors’ employment of both Euro-American and Indigenous literary forms, genres, and media. Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of (C) or higher.
