Regardless of patient population or care setting, nurses care for seriously ill and dying patients. This course provides an in-depth opportunity for nursing students to examine and practice the communication skills needed for effective primary palliative nursing care. Students will explore the nurse’s vital and central role in caring and advocating for seriously ill or dying patients and their families.
