Topics covered include: structure and function of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids; enzyme mechanisms and regulation; metabolic pathways and control; nucleic acid structure, function and processing; regulation of gene expression; intracellular and extracellular signal transduction. Offered fall and summer semesters.
