HS 4460 - Mindfulness (3) The in-depth study of mindfulness history, theory, and practices used for self-care. The course includes an exploration of research on mindfulness for personal well-being, and also for application to specific mental and physical health challenges including chronic pain, addiction, chronic depression, and anxiety. Experiential learning opportunities are emphasized to support the development of self-awareness, self-reflection, and interpersonal effectiveness. Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060 (minimum grade of C), HS 2000
