Prepares students to teach PreK-12 Adult English Learners (ELs), by reviewing popular, innovative, widely used methods, techniques reshaping the field. Develop individual pedagogical beliefs about how language is learned and taught through discussions, projects, multimedia presentation, classroom visits, working with ELs individually and in small groups. Meets with ALS 5518; credit will not be received for both ALS 4418 and ALS 5518.
