Faculty approved field experience in volunteer community service. Focus on developing an understanding of the relationship between communication and community with readings, essays, response papers, and in-class presentations and discussion.
General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement for the capstone experience. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
Additional Requirement(s): At least 20 credits of COM courses for COM Majors or permission of instructor.
Prerequisite(s): COM 3000 or COM 3002 or JMS 3003 or COM 3201, with a grade of (C) or higher
